Ending your tenancy

If you're planning to move out, there's a few things you need to do before handing back your keys.

Ending your tenancy

Step 1 - Give us two months notice

If you plan to move out of your property, you must give us a minimum of two months' notice in writing. You can email us at info@wealdliving.com

Step 1 - Your rent paid up to date
You must also make sure your rent is paid up to date - call us on 01403 226060 if you need to check your balance.

Step 3 - Leave property clean and in good order
It is also important that you leave the property clean and in good order. You are at risk of losing some or all of your deposit if you do not leave your home in accordance with the inventory supplied at the start of your tenancy. We will of course take fair wear and tear of the property into consideration.

Step 4 - Take meter readings
You are also responsible for taking all meter readings and informing the relevant utility companies accordingly.

Step 5 - Returning your keys
All keys to the property must be handed to the inventory clerk or returned to our offices on the day your tenancy ends.
