Lindfield is a picture-perfect village centred round an attractive, spring-fed pond and is well-known for its pretty high street with stunning medieval and post-medieval framed houses. Lindfield Common is a popular spot, with cricket, tennis and bowls clubs and a well-equipped children’s playground. There are a variety of places to eat and drink along with hairdressers, beauticians and barbers, butchers, bakers and greengrocers, a post office, supermarket, Lindfield is a popular place to visit.
Lindfield has two churches, a medical centre, opticians and a number of nursery schools. There are two primary schools and it is in the catchment area for several secondary schools, including Oathall Community College and Warden Park Academy. Central Sussex College and The Princess Royal Hospital are also nearby.
Heathwood Park also benefits from its close proximity to Haywards Heath, which has excellent rail links to central London (40 minutes) and Brighton (15 minutes).
