New affordable homes for Lancing

Date: 15 July 2020

We've recently exchanged contracts with CALA Homes for the affordable housing element of their upcoming New Monks Farm development.

New affordable homes for Lancing

The exchange of contracts follows planning approval earlier in the year, when CALA Homes was given the go ahead to build 600 brand new homes off Hayley Road in Lancing. The site will feature a mixture of tenures, with Saxon Weald delivering 75 affordable homes in phases one and two, including 45 for affordable rent and 30 for shared ownership purchase.

Stephen Humphreys, Saxon Weald’s Assistant Director – Development and Sales, said: “After a successful partnership at their Cresswell Park development in Angmering, we’re delighted to be working with CALA Homes once again at New Monks Farm. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide much needed affordable homes in Lancing and help local first-time buyers get a foot on the property ladder.”

Anticipated to take four years to build, the completed site will also consist of a new IKEA store, land for a primary school and a 28-hectare country park.
